In phase 1, we will focus on how helping hairstylist completes their job independently. The development of the customer App will be in phase 2.
User research
After interviewing our clients and some hairstylists, we decided that we need App, check-in machines, and automatic pay stations to provide a full service with minimal staff.
We also found out some fun facts about the industry:

The Schedule of the popular hairstylist is very full so sometimes they may misremember their appointments.

Most of the customers are unpunctual and sometimes hairstylists rely on the receptionist to notice their arrival because the counter is on different floors.

Some hairstylists will service multiple customers at the same time.
1 Booking & Tracking
Hairstylists can receive orders on App and book seats. With the to-do list and calendar, hairstylists can check their schedule at any time. The app will also send a notice before the appointment as a reminder.
While the customer arrives, the app will send notice to the hairstylist.
WESHAiRE app allows hairstylists to save their customers ' information and keeps track of each customer's history and preference to increase the quality of after-sales service.
Hairstylists can also check their earning and contract easily.

2 Check-in
From the interview, we knew that there are lots of unpunctual customers and some hairstylists will service multiple customers at the same time.
While customers arrive, they can check-in with their phone number. Then the hairstylist will receive the notice.


3 Pay the Bill
After the service, customers can pay their bills with the automatic pay station while the hairstylist clean.
The automatic pay station will do the account to reduce the burden of WESHAiRE.

Summary
I led the user experience and design the user interface of App for hairstylists, the check-in machine, and the automatic pay station.
I collaborated with the researcher to create user flow, create a prototype, and adjusted some of the interfaces after collecting feedbacks from hairstylists participating in the test.
